Are you getting guidance?
We get so caught up in signs, omens, and guidance. We look for the really big answers like,
Should I buy this car? Should I move to another State? Should I quit my job? Should I marry this person?
And sometimes we are aware of the guidance and sometimes we totally ignore it, but it is always there.
Or we may think we don’t get the guidance.
But the thing is, that it’s rarely a bolt of lightning or as loud as a drum. It’s most often subtle. We may miss it behind the other thoughts in our head.
One of the best ways to strengthen intuition is to listen to it, to follow the guidance.
I was reminded of this just the other morning when I decided to cook some eggs. I placed two eggs in the egg cooker, pierced the yolk and added the water as instructed.
As I was putting the cooker in the microwave a gentle thought came over me, “Cover that with a bowl”
I shrugged it off, placed the cooker in the oven and programmed it for high for two minutes. I thought, “That’s pretty high for that, maybe medium would be better.” I again ignored the thought and walked away from the kitchen.
Within a minute I heard a loud pop and by the time I got back to the microwave there was an explosion loud enough to send my dog, Max, running from the kitchen.
I opened the oven door and found the microwave was covered with bits of exploded egg whites and yolks. It was such a mess. It looked like more of a mess than two eggs could possible create.
It took me 15 minutes to clean up the mess and as I cleaned I remembered the warnings. If I had heeded the intuitive thoughts and placed a bowl over the egg cooker – and if I had heeded the thought to cook the eggs on medium – I would have saved not only my breakfast, but my time.
So next time you hear a thought, even if its something as mundane as cooking an egg, heed it. It may not only save you trouble, but in following it, it will strengthen your guidance for the bigger issues.

Thank you for your comments, Diane.

Wow can I relate to this.So I started to pay attention more. Now I find I get more guidance and it helps. Some times it was a simple message like where are you car keys, don’t lock them in your car. Other were related to people – like call someone to find they needed a friendly advice..great stuff
Thanks as I need all the help we can get for this big event Cassadaga Halloween project I am helping with
Thanks Lynn
