Thank you for being a Friend

“A friend is someone who knows the song in your heart and can sing it back to you when you have forgotten the words.”
My husband is my best friend ever. Before I met him I had no plans to marry, but the night we met I fell in love. Within six months of meeting, we were married. And in over thirty years of marriage I never expected to experience such love in my life. How wonderful. Thank you. I love you dearly.
There are events in life that a mother hopes to experience with her daughter, that in having sons I never expected to be part of. My daughters in law have blessed my life in these and other ways, greater than I could have imagined. How wonderful. Thank you. I love you dearly.
When I first met my father in law, he gave me a big bear hug. Over the years, I could always turn to him and talk to him about anything. He was a wise, patient, kind and loving father. How wonderful. Thank you. I love you dearly.
How does your belief in reincarnation affect your life?
If you believe in reincarnation, do you feel like what you can’t get done this lifetime, you’ll complete in your next lifetime?
Do you feel that if you can’t get along with someone or if you can’t forgive someone – that you’ll do it later?
Do you believe that you are building credits for a better life next time around?
The Heart of the Champion
I recently watched the movie Secretariat. It’s one of those movies that stays with you long after the end. Even though some of the screenplay is fictional and sensationalized, it still served as a celebration of Life — as expressed in a great horse.
After the movie, I went to YouTube and watched footage of the actual race. As I watched Secretariat race to the finish, I wondered… what made the horse run?
Some would say he had heart – the heart of a champion.
Dissatisfied with life or lamenting your past?
If so, how far back in time would you have to travel in order to wipe the slate clean?
To what point would you need to rewind?
Would it be back in years or just the last hour?
Are you regretting something you did or said? Do you really think you screwed up?
Happy Holidays – Happy New Year
As the new year approached I thought back over the past year. There were things that I could wish had been different. There were challenges I could admit that I’d rather not have faced. There were problems I still had not resolved to my satisfaction.
But, then I thought of something of which I was grateful. And on thinking of that one thing, I thought of another thing and then another.
It was like a string of pearls in my hand, each bead a reminder of something to be grateful for.
And as I thought of each thing for which I was grateful , such as our grandchildren, our children, my family, my marriage, my health, my friends, my dog, playing golf … my mood lifted and my energy shifted.
I looked to the New Year, not as another year of facing challenges, but as another year of opportunity to celebrate living.
As this year closes, may any challenges or concerns be overshadowed with your blessings.
May you look at one thing to be grateful for, and may you then be counting your multitude of blessings.
May you enter the New Year with this elevated state of anticipation and gratitude.
May this elevated state help you see new answers and opportunity.
May your New Year resonate with health, happiness, love, joy, abundance.
and… May you be open to receiving all of your good as you create in this new year – a life of celebration!
The world is so much more than we see with human eyes or comprehend with Earthly minds.
But. we need not struggle to try to understand it all.
Just remember this, in the silence, deep within us are the answers we seek; the instincts that issue warnings, and the premonitions and insights that seem to just come to us from out of the blue.
The more we trust this deeper wisdom, the stronger it will be. And by learning to trust it and live from it – we can create a peaceful, safe and abundant life experience.
How? By learning to literally trust our gut.

Yea, Thanksgiving is here and it’s time for:
- Worrying about cooking the big meal
- Watching the parades
- Watching football
- Planning for tomorrow’s big sale events
Um, no wait a minute. That’s not it. It’s not about any of that.
Amid the hurry, and the whirl of activity, I pause and give thanks.
Let’s us take time to think upon that for which we are grateful.

May your every day be a celebration of Happy Thanksgiving!

It’s amazing to me how quickly and easily I can create or attract something into my life when I hold a feeling of indifference.
For example, I might wonder how a friend is doing – perhaps someone I haven’t heard from in a while.
It’s just a thought, a wondering – like picking up a card about them and then dropping it and letting it go.
Usually within 24 hours I will receive an email or phone call from that person.
Looking for Universal Signs of Guidance
Do you some times feel like you are just not getting the feedback you want?
I mean – “Hey Universe — I’m doing or trying this stuff – am I on track? How about a sign?”
I was thinking about this the other day, when I decided to ask the Big “U” for a sign.
Following Intuitive Guidance
Last week I was a guest at a beautiful beach wedding. The groom stood with his best man and the minister – their backs to the ocean. The guests, consisting of family and friends, stood in a half circle around the groom facing west to await his bride.
From the dunes and down the beach path, came the three adorable flower girls, followed by the lovely maid of honor.
As the bride approached the top of the hill, one of the guest’s shouted “Look at the turtles!”
