Recently a reader emailed and asked about intuition:
“It looks very nice to read that we should allow the life to unfold and i really like this way of life. but there is one question which bothers most of us and that is how can we know that we are going as per our intuition. what if our decisions are based on our old programming. what if our decision is wrong. can you bring some light on it?”

What direction do you desire?
What would you like to receive or experience?
You are in the pilot’s seat. Your guides are your co-pilots; your angels are your wings.Your higher self is the tower speaking to you. Your intuition is your navigation — guiding you.
But you are the one who is flying the plane.

Taking Time for Introspection
I am writing this from an ancient laptop because my newer faster laptop decided to die, expire, croak. It’s death was untimely and inconvenient to my plans, but it’s gone and that’s it.
So now as I shop my options for a new computer, I write on this old machine, that works fairly well at the desktop, but is too slow and labored to be online.
I sit at my desk and wonder, “With deadlines to meet and projects to complete, why did this happen?”

Allow Life to be Joyful
I dropped into the stream as one would plop into a pool. I laid on an inner tube, spinning with the current. My feet and hands dangled in the water. I looked up at the sky as if in meditation. I went where the current wanted to take me. I have found life to be easy and effortless when I get out of my own way and go with the stream of life down river.

Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily… Life is but a Dream”

Money is energy – just like the energy that is in and of everything.
Money is not against us or for us. Money just is.
Money is indifferent. Money is just energy, like the wind blowing along the beach.
As the breeze blows along the beach, over the rocks, and ruffles the feathers of the birds standing at the water’s edge … the wind is indifferent to who feels it. As the breeze skirts along the sand and plays with our beach umbrellas, towels or blankets, we just allow it. It is just there. Sometimes the breeze feels so good, it enhances our visit. Other times, the wind grows too strong, and we have to leave the beach. But even if in leaving, we feel disappointed, we do not abhor wind or blame the beach for the rest of our days.
Why is it that we can feel so emotional about money?

The Curse and Blessings of Being a Sensitive Empath
If you are empathic, you may be attracting what other people are feeling. You may also find that family, friends and coworkers say that you are too sensitive. Without discernment, empaths may needlessly carry phantom pain and feelings; it can be confusing.

Exiting the tree lined canopy I walked onto the sand, and witnessed an awesome sight: blue sky, fluffy white clouds, and sunlight dancing like diamonds on the bright waves and blue water.
I quickly scanned the beach and selected a vacant spot over by the bank of sea grape bushes to my left. I placed my beach bag on the sand, then opened my beach chair and sat a moment taking in my surroundings.
I noticed children squealing with delight as they ran back and forth from the water’s edge pouring water from their sand buckets into the moat surrounding their sand fort.
I watched as the sandpipers skillfully darted in and out of the surf between each wave, while seagulls noisily begged for food from picnickers. I shaded my eyes from the sun as I looked up to see a pod of pelicans flying overhead on a current I could not see.
I closed my eyes and listened to the beach. The sounds created a peaceful feeling within me, which helped me realize how stressed and tense I have been. Stressed during the day, and not sleeping well at night.
I used to meditate each morning – however, lately my life has been too busy to take the time for meditation. But sitting here with my eyes closed, I tuned in to the sound of the waves and felt the stress fall away. My breathing became in sync with the sound of the surf.
