How badly to do you want what you say you want?
I had a friend tell me about something that she wanted that had still not come to fruition.
“Have you considered whether or not you really want it?” I asked her.
Often when we don’t get what we wish for, we find that deep inside we either don’t really want it, or aren’t willing to do what it takes to achieve it.

Sometimes we feel like we just cannot define what we want to be, do or have.
Perhaps you can’t choose between some ideas, or make a decision, or create a focused goal.
Being unclear can fill us with stress and anxiety because we just can’t define what we want.
We may say: “I have no idea what I want” – or – “I have too many ideas”
Your journal is a great tool for getting clear intention:
Setting specific intentions to get what you really want.
When my son was about 9 years of age, he wanted a very specific pair of shoes. At the time the shoes cost nearly $50 – back when shoes were less than $20.00. I told him that there was no way he was getting those shoes.
The following Saturday, I drove my son and one of his friends to the Mall for new school shoes. Upon entering the first store, he ran to a display rack and lifted a shoe saying, “Look, Mom, they have them.”
I shuddered. “I’m not paying $50 for your shoes,” I said.
She showed me a large wall map and said, “Where do you want to go?”
